Hello, Friends
Please someone help me find right cable to communicate Panelview 600 (2711-B6C9) to Micrologix 1200 (1762-L24AWAR). AND any advice.

Welcome to the PLCTalk forum community !

That PanelView part number ending in (9) means that it has a DH-485 protocol network port with RS-232 signal and connector type.

That means you can connect it only to devices that run DH485 protocol over RS-232. That includes a 1761-UIC PC interface, or a MicroLogix controller with its serial port set for DH485 network mode.

The PanelView Standard User Manual shows that the recommended part numbers for a direct connection to a MicroLogix with a Channel 0 round "Mini-DIN" port is 2711-NC21 or 2711-NC22.

Many users also use a 1761-CBL-PM02 and add a null-modem converter to the DB9 end.

Because the MicroLogix 1200 has a +12V pin on the Channel 0 serial port, you should use only A-B cables. If you build your own, look up the pinout.

To my knowledge, the MicroLogix 1200 with the "R" part number supports only DF1 Full Duplex from the second serial port, so you will have another method for connecting to the PLC even when Channel 0 is set for DH485 protocol, without even having to use the DCOMM button.

Sorry, of course: 1747-UIC is the part number for the USB/DH485 converter with both RS-485 and RS-232 connectivity. It's an SLC-500 family part number (1747) not a MicroLogix 1000 family part number (1761).

I was distracted both by eggnog and the fact that a system like OP describes frequently includes some MicroLogix family network interfaces like the 1761-NET-AIC isolator.

The market leader is of course the PLCCable.com equivalent kit:
