Kinetix 5500

Hi all,

Maybe silly question but want to make sure. I have not found anything in the manual about that..
On Kinetix 5500 you can use either 1Ph 230 or 3Ph 480VAC but do these drives have any jumper, switch, etc. to select the input power that you're going to use?

Thanks but I have read that and it's just about grounding. Nothing about 230 single or 480 three phase power input.

I believe it's simply L1 and L2. You'll only have ~1/3 the output power.
(10hp drive for 3hp motor)

Check out this manual https://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/2198-um001_-en-p.pdf. Using ctrl+f to search single-phase gives many results. Page 71 shows singe-phase wiring, and page 117 has an important note about which property needs to be set to operate it in single-phase. There are other important things on single-phase to look into as well such as removing the grounding screw, not using the capacitor module, etc.
