I currently have a 1336 hard wired drive that I would like to swap to a 700 using a Rio adpt. How do I go about configuring this in plc 5. We currently have some in operation but i can't seem to find exactly where in the UK config where you define groups, rack size etc. Thanks

get into the plc program.
select channel configuration and select channel 1a or 1b.
you can configure the port for remote I/o, remote I/o adapter, or dh+
the drive should be 1/2 rack in size.

if this is a new cable, you will need end resistors, I could be wrong on this.
I could be wrong on the size, but I don't think so.
if I am incorrect on any thing else, someone please correct me.
