Are the N files in the 525 the same as the 40p for ethernet? (E-Comm card) I have used 40P with Micrologix 1400
Messaging but don't see the N files in the 525 manual. I do see in the 525 manual that some of the
things like speed control would be 600 in a 40P for 60 hz while the 525 it would be 6000 for 60 hz

If this is your 1st dance with the ML1400/PF525 combination over the Embedded Ethernet port on the PF525, pay particular attention to N42:3.
Page 136 has comments about this:

This next pic is a MSG dealing with N42:3

If you do not have this message set up, nothing will work.

This can easily be accomplished with an automatic trigger of the message:

I got the automatic trigger from Rockwell Sample Code, quite a while back, and it works quite well. Never an issue.

I am not sure if you can set N42:3 to a non-zero number other ways, but this is what I have, and it works well.

Thanks for the update, just got the email, I managed to find the first screenshot you sent in another manual one 525, looks the same as
setting up a 22 E-COMM on a 40P . I wont get to test one for a while as I am other projects, but wanted to get my cookie cutter
program written with the comm's and messaging. I will have to check if you can set them up on the network with CCW like the 40P
I would suspect you can. Thanks..
