Semi-OT: Denso Robot Question

Anybody here used a Denso robot? They seem like very nice units, but as I'm setting it up, the manual and the rep tell me I should have the option to set the IO modules up for "all-user" IO (as opposed to "Standard", "Compatible" and "Mini", which are different combinations of preconfigured IO functions), but my VS-G robot does not offer this option in the setup screen.

Any thoughts?
