Hi. I have a question on an interface lead for a 1770-KFD module. (Allen Bradley 232 to devicenet interface module) I just purchased a second hand one on EBay and it did not come with a standard null modem cable. The cable supplied where it normally fits into my serial port has a flat plastic extension about 30 mm long with 10 contacts on one side of it. The only writing that makes any sense is PC327. Any one have any idea what this cable is used for. Regards Alan Case

Weird one. I don't think it's an A-B cable, probably something the user was interfacing to a nonstandard RS232 port.

I use 1747-CP3 and 1756-CP3 cables interchangeably with the 1770-KFD's serial cable often. I'm not sure they're identical, but they always work for me.

The real KFD cable pinout is in the installation instructions:

(p.s. I use a USB-RS232 converter with the KFD, and I need to use that cable or a jumper cable rigged the same between the converter and the KFD.)
