analog input cards

What is the failure mode ?

Card produces diagnostic interrupt ?

Card gives a fixed value for varying voltages ?

How long between failures ?

What equipment is the card connected to ?

Can you post a schematic ?

Have you worked out what is causing it?
We have been using S7-400 cards since 1997, with few failures.
What is your application?

Given the lack of detailed information, this is a wild guess, but incorrect earthing can often cause problems with Siemens I/O cards (at least with the 300 Series).
